This was a prime choice for a weekend outing in Coron with good price value. The views from the rooftop bar area were great. Consider asking for a room with better A/C if you need quiet at night.

I had a fantastic stay and loved that the hotel was close to dicanituan island and just a short walk to coron harbor, allowing for some great strolls while soaking in the beautiful scenery. the rooftop area was a perfect spot to unwind with gorgeous sunset views after my explorations around the vibrant town.

The Funny Lion in Coron hit the culinary jackpot with their vibrant restaurant and rooftop bar. I was vibing hard with their local dishes. the gyudon was just a flavor explosion! Plus, the complimentary iced tea and fresh fruit in the fridge were a sweet touch. Staff hospitality? Absolutely top-notch!

Now, on the flip side, while the dining experience was dope, the spot could use some sprucing up. It doesn’t boast a beach, and that sewage smell near the pool area could be a major buzzkill!

The Funny Lion, Coron is beautifully decorated, with spacious and modern rooms that offer great views. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making every need feel catered to, which is a delight for senior guests.

A few more cable TV channels would be nice.

Unexpected generosity at Funny Lion

Woke up each morning to the staff’s warm greetings and delicious treats in the fridge. Their attention made my stay truly remarkable.

Only downside was the absence of a gym, which I would have found useful during my long stay.

The rooftop bar offers stunning views and relaxing jacuzzis after a day of exploring. Large, comfortable rooms make for a pleasant stay, and the breakfast buffet has a nice variety. However, the air conditioning in the initial room was problematic, leading us to switch rooms for repairs, and the Wi-Fi in our original room was weak.

Perfect escape for couples

Got a chance to indulge in their private poolside 4-course dinner on our anniversary. The staff went out of their way to decorate the room with flowers while we were out diving. It felt so special.

It was expensive, but worth every penny.

We stayed 4 nights, and the AC was incredibly loud, making it impossible to sleep with it on. Moreover, the breakfast options were monotonous. we expected variety over several days but got the same thing each morning. It was frustrating to see the staff overwhelmed and running around without really attending to the guests effectively.
